‘Tribal Intellectual Collective India’- Second Congress to be held in Odisha
The Second National Congress of Tribal Intellectual Collective India (TICI) will be organized at Gangpur College of Social Work- Sundargarh, Odisha from 22-24 September 2016. This three day seminar will witness Tribal/Adivasi scholars, researchers from across the country, and will contribute towards producing ‘knowledge from within’. The Congress is jointly hosted by Adivaani- Kolkata, Spikap- Shillong, Angna- Sundargarh and Adivasi Resurgence- Chhattisgarh.
The First National Congress of TICI was held last year at NEHU, Shillong themed “Tribal and Adivasi Studies in India Today: Unravelling and deepening perspective from within”. While, this year, the seminar theme is “Adivasi and Tribal Studies in India Today: Theorizing Justice from Within“.

Can students attend the seminar without submitting any paper?
Yes Mr Shiva. All are welcome to attend the seminar, with or without submitting any paper.
Can research scholars (who are tribals) apply to the seminar?
Yes they can apply. It is, in fact meant to provide opportunities for Tribal students, Research Scholars.
